Our Caterer



Erin Proud contacted various caterers prior to our site visits. Stephen Dyke at Day by Day was the first caterer to respond and the only caterer who offered to meet us during site visits. He came completely prepared to our meeting with sample menus in hand. He took Erin's suggestions based on our preferences and ran with them.

Paul and I had lunch at his restaurant with Erin. We were so impressed with his hospitality that we decided immediately to work with him.

Here's a sampling of some of our menu choices:
-6 Butlered Hors d'oeuvres including pigs in a blanket, scallops wrapped in bacon, spinach and feta in phyllo
-Slider bar with mini burgers, turkey burgers, pulled pork sandwiches and Mac 'n Cheese
-Mashed Potato Bar
-Antipasta Bar with a selection of quality cheese and meats and olives

A lot of people choose to consider all their caterer choices (it’s a good excuse to taste a lot of great food, after all!), but it’s great that you fell in love with your first choice right away! The food you tasted sounds absolutely scrumptious. What menu did you go with? And, did they also handle the table arrangements?
